Fine Art Instruction at its best!
Creating Happy, Confident and Talented Artists

Why is Art so important? American artist and educator, Robert Henri said, “Art when really understood is the province of every human being. It is simply a question of doing things, anything, well. It is not an outside, extra thing. When the artist is alive in any person, whatever his kind of work may be, he becomes an inventive, searching, daring, self-expressing creature. The world would stagnate without him, and the world would be beautiful with him.” Art is not just an extra thing, it is the activity that allows us to burn the creative flame we have within all of us. There is a misconception regarding creativity and talent. Creativity is the ability to make up a thought in ones mind. For example, let’s think of a cat. Right there you created that thought and it had color or was it a drawing? Did you put the cat in an environment? All that is part of your creativity. Everyone is born with creativity. The problem is learning to bring that thought into the physical world. That is where talent comes in. Talent is a degree of skill and it can be learned. Once you put the two together you become a more confident and effective artist. Now the great by-product of being an artist is that it can spill in other areas of your life. For example, solving problems faster, thinking outside the box and looking at things in a whole new way. Those are just a few examples, join us for a FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASS so you too can embark on this fun adventure!
